Botswana Wilderness Safari
A well-designed safari in Northern Botswana includes the three habitats of the Okavango, Moremi, and Linyanti. These places can be visited on a cross-country or overland safari but more often access is by charter aircraft. In the Okavango you will want to spend some time at a 'water camp' offering mokoro (dug-out canoe) trips.

Elephant Back Safari
One of the more unique Botswana safaris is on the back of an elephant. This is normally combined with other environments in Botswana and attracts the adventurous traveler who likes something 'off the beaten track'. The itinerary that follows is the minimum recommended number of days in each region, to which you can add more nights.
